Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I studied photojournalism in Boston and moved to New York City to pursue a career in media in 2006. There I honed my skills as a visual editor in both print and digital at companies including Conde Nast, The Village Voice, and Us Weekly.

Determined to better grasp what I saw as a rapidly changing digital and technological media environment, I moved to London in 2017 to pursue a MA at Goldsmiths University. There I studied memes, the effects of digital over-saturation, and the way we use (and are used by) new technologies.

Since moving to London, I have broadened my scope globally, working on digitally-forward picture desks including Vogue Global Network and Farfetch.

I have a passion for digital media and visual communication, as well as a sharp eye for compelling images and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced media environment.  I am driven to find better ways to communicate and connect in our increasingly networked culture.
